Audio-Technica’s ATR288W VHF TwinMic Microphone System with Battery-Powered Receiver and Transmitter is a multi-purpose wireless system that provides versatile performance for camcorders, karaoke, DJs, houses of worship, schools, meetings and presentations. This system is supplied with two microphones, the ATR35 omnidirectional condenser lavalier microphone and the ATR20 unidirectional dynamic vocal/instrument microphone. Whether you're producing videos, leading aerobics, or putting on dramatic works, you'll find usefulness and versatility in Audio-Technica's 2-mic multi-purpose ATR288W wireless microphone system. At the heart of the system are its microphones, AT's ATR35s miniature lavalier condenser microphone and the ATR20 dynamic handheld microphone.Either mic may be plugged into the supplied transmitter and fed wirelessly (using FM, or frequency modulation) to the receiver and on to your mixing console, tape recorder, hard disk, or other device. Use the system with camcorders, karaoke setup, DJ systems, houses of worship, schools, meetings, or presentations.
The ATR35s (frequency response: 50 to 18,000 Hz) provides "hands-free" use and comes with a lapel clip and a tiny, custom-fit windscreen. The ATR20, meanwhile (frequency response: 80 to 12,000 Hz), is perfect for uses such as singing, talking, and other situations requiring mobility and durability.
The compact, ultra-lightweight transmitter and receiver are each powered by a single 9V battery (not included), on which they last for about 8 hours. The system's normal operating range is 100 feet, though you may get transmissions of up to 300 feet under optimum conditions.
Two user-switchable transmission frequencies and a durable, rubber-coated, flexible receiver antenna assist you in securing interference-free operation. The system comes with a monaural earphone for real-time monitoring, as well as a transmitter belt-clip and a reliable camera-mount adapter for easy positioning and use.
